This is a page from the site I developed to handle Oliver Wyman's public website publishing. Words (and most pictures) on the public site are configurable using this interface and has allowed the client to update all their web content for a number of years without any developer intervention.

Depending on privilege level, users can edit various parts of the site and push content for approval, testing or publishing directly on the production site. This system has separate web servers that mirror content in various stages of approval or consideration so that the suggested changes can be previewed by the publishing administrator before they are sent live. The system handles images and files and has built-in style sheets for every variety of item on the site.
